Responsible Pet Owners Month - February each year

For the month of February we celebrate Responsible Pet Owners Month! There isn't a lot of information on the history of responsible pet owners month but having and taking care of pets is a long tradition. In fact, there is historical evidence that people have had canine and feline companions for thousands of years!

Having a pet is wonderful--those furry, feathered, or scaley family members are so loyal and loving. Since our pets give us so much loyalty and affection, it's important for us to return the favour and give them lots of love and care back. There are a bunch of ways we can look after our pets, like taking them to the vet, playing with them, training them, and of course... giving them tons of love!
