Age: | any | |
Time Required: | 2 to 3 hrs
Difficulty: | easy | |
Materials Required: | You will need: white long handle underwear, or white sweatsuit (or t-shirt and sweatpants if your child prefers), a hot glue gun, glue sticks for the glue gun, cardboard pieces and small safetypins, an old or new white sheet (twin for a younger child and so on from there)
Directions: | Cut up the white sheet into 2 or 3 inch strips. Have the child try on the underwear or the sweats and begin wrapping the strips and pinning every so often. Have some leftover strips to use for the arms, hands, ankels, and the head.(probably about 3 for the head, 1 for the ankels-each, and 1 for the arms-each) Take off the pinned project and insert cardboard in between the outfit and begin to hot glue the strips down in different areas with some of the strips loose and flapping around. Now, when the child is ready to go out, have them put on the outfit and then layer the extra strips around the arms, ankels, and the head. (leaving the eyes, and the mouth uncovered.)
