Melted Snowman

This is a cute "gag" gift.  Older children have loads of fun making it for relatives!  It's fun to give in warm climates *grin*

Take a baby food (or other small glass jar) and fill with:
  

• 7 black beads (2 eyes and 5 for the mouth).  You could also use small buttons or rocks.
   
• small piece of carrot (nose).
   
• 2 small pieces of twig or straw  (arms).
   
• Optional:  you can even buy tiny black plastic hats at craft stores and put one of those in.

Fill jar with water and put on a gift tag or label that says "Melted Snowman"

Optional:  Cut a circle of fabric a little bigger than the jar.  Put over the lid and tie with a ribbon.

Optional Poem:

Snowman happy, snowman mad,
Snowman silly, snowman sad,
Oh oh! Snowman melts away --
But he'll be back another day!
