Handprint Turkey with Poem
This is the standard handprint turkey craft that we've all been making for years!
Materials:
- paper,
- scissors,
- pencil crayons,
- glue
- Optional: feathers
Instructions:
- Trace around child's hand with the fingers spread out as much as possible.
- Either cut a eyes, hat, beak and wattle out of construction paper or draw them on with pencil crayons or markers ... The thumb of the handprint is the turkey's head.
- Draw on some orange legs.
- Optional: Glue a feather onto each of the fingers.
Here's a cute poem to go with your craft:
This isn't just a turkey as you can plainly see.
I made it with my hand which is a part of me.
