DLTK's Chinese New Year Activities
The
Year of the Ox
The Chinese calendar follows the moon and divides the years into groups of twelve. Each year is named for an animal. People born in that year are believed to share different traits.
Ox
(1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009, 2021, 2033, 2045)
The Ox will work hard for others. Born under this sign you are honest, reliable, and kind. You don't need praise or attention for the work that you do but you do expect others to follow through on commitments. You would make an excellent teacher, doctor, lawyer, or business person and whatever job you do, you'll be a talented worker.
