Pilgrim Craft
This is a fun and easy color, cut, and paste craft that turns simple printed pieces into a hands-on project kids can really make their own. Using a cardboard tube, the craft becomes three-dimensional which is perfect for decorating a room, collecting on a shelf, or even imaginative play. Part of the fun is seeing how each child personalizes their creation, experimenting with colors, textures, and details, and then enjoying it as a lasting part of their space or playtime. It works great for a Thanksgiving theme. If you want to be cute and silly, you can make the Pilgrim Mouse Craft to go with him.
Materials:
- a toilet paper roll,
- a printer,
- paper,
- scissors,
- glue,
- something to colour with.
Instructions:
- Print out the craft template of choice.
- Colour pieces, as necessary.
- Cut out the pieces. This step may require adult assistance.
- Glue the large rectangular piece around the tp roll.
- Glue on the buttons, belt, head, arms and legs.
- Glue platter of turkey into one of the hands.
