Aug 28, 1963: "I Have a Dream" Speech
On August 28, 1963 Martin Luther King, Jr. Gave a seventeen minute long speech that is now commonly known as his "I Have a Dream" speech. His speech, given from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC was a key moment during the American Civil Rights Movement.
