One of my favorite accompaniments to our Traditional Easter Ham dinner is my Fruit Conserve. Here is how to make it:
1 Can Each and drained:
- (small can) Mandarin Oranges
- (large) Red Pitted Cherries
- (Large can) Pears
- (Large can) Peaches
- (Large can) Pineapple Chunks.
- 1/3 Cup Brown Sugar
- Approximately 10 Crumbled Coconut Cookies
- 1/3 Cup of Sherry.
Butter a 9 x 13 glass oblong pan. Pour the very well drained fruit into pan, crush cookies on top, dab with butter and spritz a little bit of Sherry on top. Bake in the oven at 350' for 30-40 minutes. Serve HOT!
Serves about 10-12 people.
