Christmas Tree Advent Calendar Craft for Kids

Make a Christmas tree Advent calendar with this simple paper craft. Kids can color, cut, and add one ornament each day until Christmas. This is a fun way for kids to count down the days and decorate their own holiday tree.

Materials:

• printer
• paper
• scissors
• glue
• something to color with

Instructions:

• Print out the craft template of choice.
• Colour pieces, as necessary.
• Cut out the Christmas Tree (template 1).  This step may require adult assistance and can be done prior to making the craft with the children.
• Cut out the ornaments (numbered 1 thru 24) and the Merry Christmas Star.
• Each day of December, have the child glue one of the ornaments onto the tree (from 24 down to 1) with the star added on Christmas morning.

• After printing, close the template window to return to the main page.
• If the template doesn’t fit on one page, adjust your printer margins:
  • In most browsers: Print → More settings → Margins → Minimum
  • Or use Page Setup / Printer Setup in your printer dialog
